Handmade by women of the Luo tribe, with whom Obama shares ancestry, this traditional cooking pot now brings important income to the Luo communities where they are crafted, and gives Nairobi artisans a beautiful medium to paint their designs. Called Amazing Grace, the planter reminds us that we accomplish much through forgiveness, unity and graciousness.
