We are fortunate to work with a talented group of textile artisans in Bamako, Mali. Under the guidance of the lovely Fatime, the group reinterprets Mali's traditional textiles for modern living.

Our African Patchwork table runner and its matching pillow emerged from a design Leslie and Fatime created together to use up the fabric scraps and ends left over from other projects. The central patchwork panel contains blocks of mudcloth and cotton, and is bordered with strips of black and blocks of green and cream cotton jacquard fabric.
