This sweet little holiday tree ornament is a new creation from UniquEco. In addition to bringing color to the holiday tree, this cute African ornament helps spread the word about marine conservation awareness.

The Flip Flop Project was founded when Julie Church and Tahreni Bwaanali sought a way to clean up the thousands of flip flops that wash up onto the Lamu Archipelago while helping islanders earn vital income.

With the beaches and reefs being freed of debris, sea turtles and other marine wildlife can utilize the islands as they have for thousands of years.
