Kenyan artisans offer a unique take on a Christian nativity scene by placing it inside a calabash gourd. The front of the gourd, which is affixed with elastic band to cowrie shells, removes to reveal a sweet little handcrafted nativity inside.

Because gourds are a totally organic item, shapes will vary.
