Our recycled glass hearts are crafted by rural Krobo artisans in Ghana from discarded glass bottles. The hearts are colored by infusing clear glass with bright red non-toxic dye. The Krobo have a long history of crafting beads from glass, and to this day use glass beads in initiation ceremonies.
