In Burkina Faso's capital city of Ougadougou, an artisan cooperative includes a contingent of very talented handicapped artisans. Michael Zigani, who lives and supports a family without the use of his legs, handcrafts these colorful leather bags from supple dyed leather. Careful tailoring, an open interior pocket, a magnetic clasp and a contrasting leather rosette crafted from end cuts all add quality to these vibrant personal accessories.
A variety of other colors are also available.
