Living in the Tabaka Hills of western Kenya, the Gusii people mine and carve chunks of soapstone into various raw forms, which they then sell to craft producers across Kenya. Our Nairobi producers decorate the raw forms with vibrant dyed patterns, geometric shapes and animal prints.
