Many aspects of Akan tradition and culture reside in the symbolic language of Adinkra. This unique set of Ghanaian motifs represents proverbs, beliefs and important historical Akan figures, but also resounds with an international audience.
Samuel Lovi is an accomplished Ghanaian ceramics artist and designer who creates employment opportunities in the arts for rural women. His decorative Adinkra vases feature the royalty-centered Adinkra hene and Gyawu atiko symbols, and Lovi's signature washed-paint finish.
Vases are not watertight; use a liner for fresh flower arrangements.
