Rural Kamba women in Kenya hand weave these chic handbags from tough sisal fibers. Sisal grows well in the semi-arid climate of eastern Kenya, and its spiky leaves contain long fibers that can be extracted for weaving. A leather body, adjustable strap and zippered closure finish the purse.

Sold singly in assorted black and white patterns. Because this is a handcrafted item, each may vary slightly.
