By pairing refugee artisans with experienced social enterprises in their host country, MADE51 stimulates local economies while fostering a mutually beneficial relationship between refugee artisans and their hosts.

Crafted by Afghan refugees living in India. This detailed crochet work takes the shape of a crescent moon, one of the most enduring motifs throughout time. For many, the moon represents progress in life and new beginnings.
