Small Black Calabash Gourd and Cowrie Shell Shekere

Kenyan artisans encircle a dyed calabash gourd in a netting of cowrie shells to create this beautiful shekere percussion instrument. A string through the top of the gourd allows the shekere to be hung up when not in use, making a beautiful addition to the wall!

Dimensions:  Gourd has a 4" diameter. Height may vary based on the shape of the gourd.
